The monitoring is primarily focused on transport and stationary applications, and when relevant, portable applications, as well as specific fuel cell technology. The project initiates, plans and implements R&D activities with the aim of developing an objective and updated picture of fuel cell research and development. The program also arranges seminars and conducts technology watch and R&D studies as the basis for research and development in the field.
The program spreads information from international activities, which among other things, is done by monitoring various activities within the European research collaboration Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking and Fuel cells and hydrogen implementing agreements within the international energy organisation IEA.
The project is carried out within the framework of the competence center Swedish Electromobility Center with Energiforsk as coordinator and project manager.
