Hydropower R&D days 2026

As usual, we will be offering a mix of topics from the centre's research areas, but you can expect a little extra emphasis on ecology and especially fish , which are Karlstad University's areas of specialisation within SVC. We will combine discussions, lectures, study visits, student events, good food and wonderful company to make this the best conference possible – see you in Karlstad!

Study visit to Gammelkroppa lax or Forshaga

A study visit will be held after lunch on the 12th of March. Those who have signed up for this will gather at "12-torget" before traveling together to Gammelkroppa lax or Forshaga. There you will either visit the state-of-the-art aquaculture facility at Gammelkroppa lax, or in Forshaga. The visit will take approximately 3-4 hours. Poster session

During the conference, we will have a poster session with as many of our research projects represented as possible. If you have a recently finished or ongoing project within SVC, please bring a poster and answer accordingly in the form. You register for this when you register for the conference, se below.
