Venue

The event is held at the Forsmark NPP conference- and training centre. It is situated inside the outer vehicle check point, and if you travel with car you need to stop in the check point and get clearance from the guard.

Travelling to Forsmark is most convenient  by car. Driving from Arlanda to Forsmark takes approximately 1h and 45 minutes. It is also possible to travel by commuter train or bus from Arlanda to Uppsala, then change in Uppsala to bus to Östhammar and finally change in Östhammar to a bus to Forsmark.

Lodging

Lodging is offered in accommodation Igelgrundet, the accommodation for temporary workers at Forsmark (item 9 in map). It was built quite recently, and the rooms are roughly like a 3-star hotel. Every room has its own bathroom, sheets and towels are included but not soap/shampoo etc. WiFi is included. Breakfast is eaten in the nearby restaurant Kraftkällan. The cost for lodging including breakfast is 200 SEK/night and you reserve accommodation when you sign up for the seminar. Please note that you need to sign up for accommodation at the latest 2 weeks before the seminar.

There are also hotels available if you prefer that, for example Strandhotellet in Öregrund (16 km to Forsmark) and Norrskedika hotel (12 km from Forsmark).
