Life-time estimation of rubber parts is shown to be a viable study via both accelerated ageing at higher temperatures and sensitive monitoring of degradation at operating temperatures.
Online wireless monitoring is shown to have potential and will be investigated thoroughly. Lastly, and importantly, the involved Nordic power plants have demonstrated great interest in the study and its continuation.
