Long term stability of tendons and post tensioning wires

| 2016:244 | Stig-Björn Westberg
The tendons and post tensioning wires are an important part of the design of the reactor containment.
Bild Till Webben, 2016 244

Material properties and structure of the wires and tendons change over time in a post tensioned design, and it is important to investigate the long term performance.

This project is based on a literature study and data from long term measurements from surveillance data from reactor containments in the nuclear power plants Ringhals and Forsmark.

Shear Force Capacity of Existig Concrete Slabs, 2025:1102

Shear force capacity in concrete slabs is crucial for structural integrity, especially in nuclear power plants where safety and reliability are paramount. In several cases low or sometimes insufficient shear force capacities have been observed in structural analyses of existing concrete slabs using modern codes. Understanding shear force capacity and how it has been treated in earlier codes helps ensure durability and safety, preventing structural failures.
