Dam Safety Interest Group

Updated 2023-04-21 Published 2019-02-08

Energiforsk's Dam Safety programme praticipates in an international interest group, The Dam Safety Interest Group, that joins dam owners from several different countries in a common effort to finance research and development projects to develop methods to assess and improve dam safety.

In addition to Swedish dam owners, representatives from Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, France, UK and Germany participate in CETI's Dam Safety Interest Group, DSIG. DSIG is one of 18 research programmes within the user-driven organisation CEATI that provides technical solutions to energy companies. Over 120 organisations from 17 countries are associated with CEATI.

On the organisation's website you can read more about DSIG and ongoing projects are ongoing. Via Energiforsk, the Dam Safety programme is currently actively participating in the development project Dam Anchoring principles.
