Webinar on Grid interaction with nuclear power plant operations

This webinar intends to share results and discuss insights from projects recently performed within the program Grid Interaction with Nuclear Power Plant Operations, Gino. The R&D programme aims to gain a better understanding of the existing and future aspects of interactions between nuclear power plants and external grid, given the development of the Nordic energy system.

Topics that will be presented in the webinar are, for example, ageing of generic systems and components, investigations of how to describe and define robustness for a grid, effects of voltage dip transients on power plant auxiliary systems, and occurrences and effects of different types of frequency deviations in the grid.
