The aim of the summer school is to provide a broad understanding of the energy gas system and to provide plenty of opportunities to interact between participants from industry and academia. Besides lectures, the summer school includes several site visits as well as interactive discussions and exercises.
PhD students and Engineers from the gas industry in Sweden, Denmark and Norway as well as from other countries are welcome to participate. After completion of the course, PhD students can get higher education credits. To be eligible to higher education credits for this course, participants need to register with the Technical University of Denmark, DTU.
GasAkademin is organized by Energiforsk, the Swedish Energy Research Center, a national coordinator of R&D in the energy sector. The summer school is sponsored by the Swedish and Danish gas industry as well as by numerous Swedish and Danish universities. PhD students and employees from sponsoring organizations are welcome to participate at a reduced price.
