To increase and transfer knowledge about polymers in nuclear applications is considered very important for the industry.
Our annual meetings act as a platform for spreading and increasing competence among all participants: research institutes, universities, license holders, authorities, and manufacturers.
Join us on March 4th to learn more about these materials and what the next steps for the industry are, network with colleagues, experts, and professionals working with maintenance and design in the nuclear sector.
Are you interested in holding a presentation? Proposals for presentation can be sent to Karin Westling, Energiforsk, or Karin Jacobson, PDS Consulting.
Energiforsk, together with the Swedish and Finnish nuclear power producers, has formed a research programme to work jointly to research on safe long-term use of polymer components and improve their ageing management. Assessing the lifespan of polymeric material more accurately is important for nuclear power plants to maintain safety and high reliability as the fleet gets older.
