GINO annual seminar 2024

The Grid Interaction with Nuclear power plant Operations, GINO, annual hybrid seminar was held in Stockholms and online on the 12th of November. The meeting acts as a meeting place for discussions on R&D on the interaction between the nuclear power plant, TSO and regulator.

The Gino programme aims at gaining a better understanding and possibility to proactively minimise interference in nuclear power plant (NPP) operations due to issues in the external grid. Program benefits include revised safety and assessed safety margins, avoidance of extended outages and maintenance periods, fewer unplanned shut-downs, and lower cost of device replacement.
